When Giving Up Feels Easier Than Pushing Forward
The Mindset Shifts That Helped Me Keep Going (Even When I Wanted to Quit)
Sometimes, it’s so easy to give up.
Exhaustion creeps in. Overwhelm takes over.
The voices in your head scream: Why keep going? You don’t have any results anyway.
I’ve been there. Recently.
Apparently, removing my biggest source of joy while actively building my business took a toll on my mind.
And in those moments, when quitting feels like the only option, here’s what helped me:
Morning routine. Journaling, planning, posting daily—even when I didn’t feel like it.
Connecting with people. Sending a simple DM just to chat.
Reaching out for support. A quick text to a friend: I’m not in a good headspace. Can I vent for a bit? People want to help—let them.
Realigning with my WHY. Reminding myself why I started in the first place.
Planning something exciting. A trip, an event—something to look forward to.
For my ladies: Checking where I am in my cycle. That week before? Always hits the hardest. But knowing that brings instant self-compassion.
Re-reading testimonials. The proof that I have made an impact, even when my mind tells me otherwise.
Using ChatGPT. I literally tell it everything, all my thoughts, and let it help me process them. Strange? Maybe. But it works.
Even the most successful founders feel this way. It’s normal. You’re not alone in it.
But pushing through these moments? That’s what separates those who dream from those who actually build.
Want to hear real stories from women navigating these same struggles?
In my second week, I made a tough call—to post twice a week. Will it work? Or will I burn out? What’s your bet? :)

PS. Sometimes it feels like I’m sending these to a brick wall 😅 Let me know how you are doing this week, so I know I’m not the only one here🫂
